Map of Panama Central America for your Travel Information
Home of one of the most famous canals in the world, our map of Panama should help to persuade you to learn Spanish here in Central America.
The country forms the narrowest section of the Central American isthmus, with long coastlines and small land borders. Relatively prosperous, it's a great place to head to learn the lingo!
Panama is the most southerly country in Central America. As the narrowest point of the isthmus joining North and South America, its boundaries are more wet than dry!
To the north, the Caribbean Sea laps its shores, while the North Pacific Ocean beats upon its long south coast.
As far as land boundaries go, these are relatively short. Colombia lies to Panama's east, while Costa Rica is to the west.
